Nah, that was ME. 98 second edition continued to be more popular until XP. Vista’s problems were nothing compared to ME.
Was it worth the effort?
Chernobyl may have had an impact on my fetal development.
Any prescriptive etiquette bugaboos like that make you sound like a square. Emily Post was a square too.
As with all things you must behave like a shithead in moderation.
Just start a new thread and draw logos for Lemmy accounts without asking. Make them as obnoxious as possible and ping them so they see it. Actually start a whole community doing that. Use this thread as your basis and then look at their username and post history to come up with something stupid. I’ll pay you in up votes, I look forward to what you can do for @SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world.
I see @teft@lemmy.world, @ivanafterall@lemmy.world, and @MicroWave@lemmy.world a lot
I dig it.
Nvidia wants IP. They do not want to buy foundries. It’s too volatile and dependent on government subsidies while also being well outside their core competencies. If their products don’t sell as a fabless company, they don’t see growth and lose on the manufacturing cost and stop placing orders. If their products don’t sell and their chip fabs run idle, they lose a shitton of money on not just the above but also the cost of maintaining the fabs. Not only is there no guarantee that Nvidia would be able to run the foundries better, it’s actually quite likely they’d run them worse.
The incoming CEO kills the preceding CEO’s cubs so the company will get back into estrus and they can have their own cubs.
