Really? I remember being so jazzed the first time I got to run cloud on the open world.

The only thing I enjoyed about midgar from the original was the flashbacks to sephiroth, and remake substitutes with the ghost stuff.

The Chocobo breeding is the best and worst part, because it’s so satisfying when you get the gold one.

Midgar was worst part of the original, and it’s dragged out and much worse in the remake… But at least I got to do squats in a gym with gender ambiguous NPCs like every anime fan craves, so I guess that’s cool /s.

The original is so great, but this one is just grinding with gender and sexuality issues turned up to 13.

Business class is worth it, and the only affordable way to buy those seats is with points. Business saver on United often has cheaper business seat pricing than premium economy. IMO, this is the best and only way to spend credit card points. As long as there isn’t some goofy card where points expire, keep them for years and spend them this way.

3 weeks from now I’m doing a long haul and got 5 business class tickets with points (between 800k and 900k points) which is a butt load of points, but the dollar cost was over $12k EACH. That’s like 6 or 7 cents per point, which is much more generous than taking the cash payout.

Edit: the downside here is if you want to buy tickets now you should have started saving points 2 to 4 years ago lol. Unless you get some sweet introductory offers.

I want to piggyback on this: canon is super important, but if it isn’t published or in the pipeline, it isn’t canon.

I love Brandon Sanderson books, but I hated reading the authors notes for Warbreaker. A char does something inexplicable in the book and it is explained by a “fun fact” about their lives that was never written anywhere and the reader could never have known and it wasnt even relevant. It is deus ex machina. It’s all made up, I know, but this is like, double made up. Fan fiction isn’t canon even of the author comes up with it until and unless it’s relevant and published.

It is not canon that rand al’thor puts baked beans in his shoes on cold days to warm up. It’s just shit you made up lol.

The physical button on the 4 is great. If I recall correctly, the issue with the 4 was the plastic for the clasps for attaching the bands. Mine broke in such a way that I couldn’t get a band back on it.
