He taught those pesky mortals how to use fire, can you believe it? And the gods didn’t create those mortals to begin with. Add insult to injury I guess.
I’ll +1 this on behalf of my sister
I like how working in the film industry has made you shutter instead of shudder
Finally, someone asking the questions that really matter!
My favorite is Piccolo. I liked Piccolo Daimaoh in DB, he made a good villain but his offspring, the Piccolo that carried on to DBZ, I fell in love with that character. The design is great, the personality, and all his arc until the Cell saga. Sadly he quickly falls into the background after that.
I know he gets the orange version nowadays but I haven’t checked out the movie or manga for that matter. I’m not a fan of the 3d style art for the franchise at least not for animation media.
I’m sorry it didn’t improve as much.
I can’t say I loved coffee the first time I tried it. It took years for it to get better, and eventually it did. An acquired taste for sure… Hopefully the same applies to my spine? Thanks for sharing
Glad to know that worked out for you! Thanks for sharing
Wow, success story - not the most usual type of story! That sounds super painful, I can’t even imagine what it’s like to sever a piece of disc. Thanks for sharing
Yup, I got a pinched nerve between c7 and c6 it makes my arm feel like I broke a bone. Did you recover fully btw? I got a post asking for people’s experiences with this sort of thing if you’re inclined to share. Thanks
I think so? Some steroid thing, CT scan assisted.
I guess my spinal injection on Friday. This pain is crippling
Thanks for sharing. It gives me hope seeing you can do what you want to do in spite of the issue.
I’m sorry to hear. That’s awful… Thank you for sharing
I don’t know if you’re the same person using a different account, but, for how long was the nerve damaged so that it was unrecoverable? Days, weeks, months?
Ahhh I feel for you and I dread my case now! Thanks for sharing
So, what was yours? A hernia , bulge, or else?
So while I was in my teens I got into a palmistry phase. I was like 15 or 14 y/o. One of my highschool teachers started teasing me about it, and at some point asked me for a palm reading, just for the lulz.
I took it seriously, as I do with most things unfortunately, and did as asked. I didn’t say much because I had no idea of what I was doing, but I did recognize in his hands what my book said was a sign of sudden end of life. I estimated the time and warned him he probably didn’t have a lot of time left, five years tops. He got really angry when I said that and held the grudge for about two weeks, claiming I was being rude. I just wanted to help…
Time passed and I grew out of my palm reading phase.
Almost two years later during class someone showed up and informed us that the teacher died in a car crash for driving recklessly. The room went silent. Everyone including myself had forgotten about the palm reading incident, well, almost everyone. Breaking the silence with a gasp, one of my classmates said, “OMG!!! IT’S LIKE WHAT (my irl name) SAID DURING THE PALM READING!!! OMG!!!”
Thanks for sharing this! Those images look very painful. Was this caused by an injury I gather? Or was it just degenerative?
Also thanks for placing an emphasis on the stretching. I typically don’t see the benefits from stretching unless I’ve done some hardcore workouts or something. Will keep in mind.
Some people here saying the same age you work and pay taxes and I absolutely agree, but with the caveat that it shouldn’t be compulsory before age 25.
And I pick 25 as it’s the average age iirc the brain is considered to be fully matured.
I personally had no clue of what I was doing and regret my first few rounds voting. I was aware at the time that I lacked the information and the big picture view of the political situation to make an informed decision though, and wished I could avoid voting entirely but in my country it was compulsory.
