The original SMS version of Twitter.
Later, the name hashtags, in American English this symbol #️⃣ was always best known as the pound key. It was also known as an Octothorpe.

Doesn’t Facebook require your name? WhatsApp would have your phone number already from when friends, family, etc. share their contacts. Maybe they would send a link to install WhatsApp.
But you don’t see those numbers when you’re looking at a post or comment, so it isn’t like Reddit karma.
Are you talking about looking at a user profile and seeing the number of posts and comments they made?
I’ve had something similar quite a few times.
Meet someone, talk for a bit, “where are you from?” u.s. “really? You don’t seem American”

Are you using Gbord? Changing your keyboard app is easy and may be painless depending on how you type. I like Heliboard, there are many others though https://f-droid.org/packages/helium314.keyboard/
You can also use something like RethinkDNS https://f-droid.org/packages/com.celzero.bravedns/ and block connections to Google (or anywhere else)
Those would be a start
That’s what I use an old phone for. In the kitchen it’s a timer, notepad, and music player. I read the news on it while having coffee.
I could do that all on my main phone of course but if I’m cooking or having coffee my main phone is both off and elsewhere. I don’t like to be disturbed.
Oh, and I use it to test apps before they go on my main phone.
Is that what the whole thing is with jackfruit burgers and pulled jackfruit? They’re using the byproducts?
